Horse Safety Basics: Stop. Think. Ask.

This short, practical course prepares horse students to work safely and thoughtfully around horses. Through quick stories and barn choices, students learn to spot hazards, communicate with teammates, handle horses with care, and know when to stop and ask the trainer for help. The course follows a horse person’s day, from arriving at the barn through cleanup. Students will build safe habits and good judgment, and learn about how to care for horses, equipment, shared spaces, and fellow students.
