About
This course introduces homeschool learners to Brumby horses and the places they live in Australia. Learners will explore how Brumbies came to Australia, what makes them different from North American Mustangs, and how trained horses can prepare for adoption. They will also learn basic horse care, including hoof trimming and dental floating. The course connects Brumbies with Australian geography, the Great Barrier Reef, native animals, and familiar Australian foods. Lessons use clear, age-appropriate language and encourage respectful care for horses, people, land, and wildlife.
