Paso Fino Horses and Puerto Rico

This kid-friendly course introduces homeschool learners to Paso Fino horses, with a focus on the Puerto Rican Paso Fino. Students learn what makes the breed’s natural gait so smooth, how to recognize its main gaits, and how Spanish horses helped shape the breed in Puerto Rico. The course also connects the horse to Puerto Rican culture, landscapes, and traditions, including Bomba music and dance. Facts are presented in clear language using breed-association information and respectful cultural context.
