About
This homeschool course introduces children to the Norwegian Fjord horse at a grade 5-6 reading level. Learners will explore the breed’s looks, colors, and long history in Norway, then learn how fjords are formed and where Norway is on a map. The course also explains safe horse training, including leading and ground driving, and the many jobs Fjord horses can do. Facts about the breed use guidance from Fjord breed registry materials, with clear safety reminders throughout.
